We have some small updates on the profile page. We added a separate section where you can see a list of your publications. What this means is that you can finally see all of the solutions that you have published along with the published solutions of other users.
Library 2.0 island
We want to help our novice coders to easily jump into the game. Now, immediately after registration, new users will see two islands open for them to explore. Now if a new user finds the missions on the Home Island too easy, they can try the missions from the Library.
The missions located in the Library are not only for novice coders. I am certain that our more advanced users can compete with each other and create some very creative solutions. Unlocking the island upon signing up simply allows the new coders to find something new and challenging for themselves.
This week our community was all about optimizations :)
We have a new review from Guido! http://www.checkio.org/mission/hidden-word/publications/Cjkjvfnby/python-3/publication/share/d7193d18e86eb46eee2cd0e98752e513/
He is becoming pretty active on CheckiO :)
We have an interesting solution from htamas for Bulls and Cows with a great review from nickie which simply starts with “I'm happy to say that this solution passes the exhaustive check.” http://www.checkio.org/mission/bulls-and-cows/publications/htamas/python-3/second/share/287532441b6763fc8de533bf46b3f5a0/
Nickie and his students help CheckiO users out a lot! :) They’ve been posting in a discussion about complexity and efficiency in real world solution. This is very interesting since the new CheckiO functionality for efficiency measurement is coming very soon! http://www.checkio.org/mission/median/publications/nickie/python-3/on-select/share/59ad382323c8ad23477f30bb89be8f57/
