• New Feature: local editor support for Chrome

Do you love CheckiO? Do you love your local code editor? Do you use Chrome? If you answered hell yes to all 3 questions above, then it's your lucky day!

Today, we are releasing a first test version of a Chrome plugin and Chrome app that allow you to code a CheckiO solution in your local editor of choice and then sync it to the mission in CheckiO.

What's even cooler is that the plugin and app were developed by a new member of the CheckiO community - Bogdan Rak (http://www.checkio.org/user/bogdan.v.rak/)! Kudos and w00t! Thanks Bogdan, you rock!

Below are some detailed instructions for how to get started. Please help us test this new feature, and post here if you find any issues or have any feedback.

================================

Please install both components listed below.

To add the CheckiO chrome extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checkio/mlglngjgefkbflbmelghfeijmojocnbi

You will also need to install the Chrome application: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/checkio/gmjofilnmjmbckkaagofaeojobnikajm

Once you have installed both Chrome components, you will see a "Link to ... " button appear in the CheckiO code editor when you choose to 'solve' a mission. Clicking this button will allow you to link your local file with the mission on CheckiO.

For each mission you solve, you should link separate local files.
