Electrical engineer with various experience in programming from machine code, to high level languages and unix/linux system management - All has been focussed on achieving a specific engineering task rather than coding as a profession - hence solutions are often more functional than elegant.
Python is now being used increasingly in engineering applications so it's time to learn :)
